This course is designed to explain the management side of the music business. Find out what music managers do, why they are important, and how to avoid management pitfalls. Lectures, discussion, and industry guests address such topics as when to get a manager, the music business only looks glamorous from the outside: the real deal, the role of the manager in the indie world, and going up the ladder with a manager.
