Country star Keith Urban has placed the song "Part of Me" on hold for consideration for his next album.

The song was written by hit Artist/Writer Carolyn Arends who Billboard Magazine calls "One of the most affecting communicators in any genre."

Carolyn has released six albums (which, combined, have sold well over a quarter-of-a-million units). 15 of Arends' songs have become top 10 radio singles on the Canadian pop and US Christian charts. Carolyn has earned 2 Dove Awards, 2 Juno Nominations, a Billboard Video Award Nomination, and is the West Cost Music Awards' reigning Songwriter of the Year.

Beloved in the Christian market, Arends' music is gaining a growing awareness amongst fans of literate singer/songwriters everywhere, due in large part to the word-of-mouth of her fiercely loyal fan base. Maintaining a year-round weekend touring schedule, Arends consistently disarms audiences across North America with her trademark warmth and utter lack of pretense, then draws them in with what one critic called her "sublime vocal ache."
