Blanche Blacke

● Blanche began singing onstage at the age of 5 and songwriting at 13.

● At 17 she joined a Southern Rock/Blues touring band whose set included Janis Joplin covers and original songs.

● As co-leader of the 80's alternative group Phil 'n' the Blanks, albums reached Top 10 on Cashbox charts, videos made rotation on MTV except "Visectomy" that MTV banned!

● In Los Angeles, she founded alternative groups, Vibe Tribe and Paisley Blacke and played the Sunset Strip.

● Recently, in Chicago, she is composing, recording and performing Jazz.
● As a collaborator, Blanche's strength is the combination of melody and lyrics flowing effortlessly. During a songwriting session with John Moulder, reknowned jazz guitarist, her melody and lyrics for "Lonely Avenue's" 3 verses and chorus were completed in 15 minutes.

● Her hundreds of songs, in various forms of development, reflect many styles and musical genres.
