Born and raised in Texas, Tyler Street has been making music since childhood—first drumming alongside his grandmother’s piano, later studying guitar with roots in jazz and blues. Though music was his first language, life carried him through medical school and surgical training before calling him back to songwriting in midlife.

Seeking a more honest creative voice, Tyler moved beyond conventional themes and developed a practice of meditation followed by spontaneous composition. This approach became Lightning Bottle: capturing songs as they arrive, unfiltered and in the moment. The result is intimate, guitar-driven music that explores presence, inner life, and emotional truth—spiritually resonant without being religious.

Tyler writes and records continually, releasing music on a regular basis. His work spans genres while remaining minimal and emotionally grounded, making it well-suited for film, television, and visual storytelling that values subtlety, meaning, and connection.
