John R. Mineaux

John is a self-taught musician concentrating on acoustic guitar and vocals who, prior to attending law school and practicing law, was an elementary schoolteacher for five (5) years. He has written a number of children’s songs under a collection titled "LAST Songs" (learning and songs together), many of which are based on state education department curriculua for elementary grades, and others which focus on life skills, human relations and interaction. While originally written for use in a classroom setting, the evolution of television and video markets have made those media an ideal platform for the presentation of the educational principles in enjoyable musical settings that, collectively, as a mnemonic device, enhance learning and long-term retention - Learning and Songs Together . . . LAST.
