I'm composer and multi instrumentalist in the Chicagoland area. I started playing piano when I was around 8 years old when a great aunt was moving from the Chicago area and gave my Mom an upright piano. I then switched to playing guitar around at age 12 when I saw an acoustic guitar lying beneath a baby grand piano at a different great aunt's condo in Chicago. This great aunt toured professionally singing opera in the 1950s and 1960s and always made my siblings and I perform songs whenever we visited. While my sibling hate this, I instantly liked performing and received tips on how to play live. A year later I started playing bass guitar, then upright bass a year later, and finally started singing a few years later as teenager. I started writing music when I was Junior High and really liked the creative process and collaborating.
After graduating high school I went on to Berklee College of music where I studied performance and arranging. When I graduated from Berklee and I spent 2-3 years unable to get established in Boston so I moved back to Chicago. Upon my return I started teaching guitar and performing live in Chicago and midwest area. After spending close to 4 decades decades playing live, writing, and session work I stumbled into Production and Trailer Music a few years ago. For me, a new way of creating music and continue the creative process I love. So far I've focussed on Rock, Cinematic Americana, and Trailer Music genres and I'm excited to see where this next part of my musical journey takes me.
