STINGRAY

I am a Singer/Songwriter with over 20 years of experience. I sing, and I play guitar and harmonica. I have played with four bands. I am currently a solo artist, spending most of my time songwriting. I am a prolific songwriter, writing one to two songs a day. I am very serious about what I do. My writing style is a combination of some of my favorite talk-singers with rich writing styles like Roger Miller, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Tom Waits, Paul Simon, and Kurt Cobain. I am a story teller through-and-through. My songs speak to the quirkiness of day-to-day life. People relate to my songs. My songs are about real life and the strange humor that goes along with it. People laugh. My music touches people. The soul of the song is what pulls the audience in. My lyrics paint a mental picture of familiar imagery that millions connect with. When asked to categorize my music, I usually say Modern Folk with an edge to it. My fans around the world call it "Nirvana Americana."
