Andrea Brodeur

Andrea is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, lyricist, arranger and producer. A trained vocalist who also plays piano and acoustic guitar, Andrea is honored to have had songs signed by VibeCity Limits Music and Altadena Music and to have received recognition from the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) including Member Awards "Song of the Year" (2024) and Song Contest Finalist (2024, 2023, and 2021), the John Lennon Songwriting Contest finalist (2024), the International Songwriting Contest (2021), and Berklee College of Music’s “Curtain Up!”(2020) and “Songs for Social Change” (2019). She is an active member of SongTown and Women in Music, and a supporter of We Make Noise. Andrea graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music where she studied songwriting and music production.

Despite her love of country music, Andrea’s musical influences are diverse and include Marvin Gaye, James Taylor, Brian Wilson, Carole King, Otis Redding, Mary J. Blige, and too many country artists to list. Her stories range from lighthearted and fun to heartbreaking and introspective. Regardless of tone, she communicates insightfully through reflection and honesty. Grounded and sensual, her lyrics incorporate elements of nature, spirituality, humility, humanity, and occasional comedic self-deprecation. (Andrea doesn’t take herself too seriously.)

When she’s not writing songs, Andrea splits her time between Nashville and Boston, where she lives with her fishing-obsessed husband Steve, soccer star kiddo Olivia, and a plethora of fur babies.
