Tin Can Fish Band

Originally from Alabama, Steve Fisher has been writing and performing his songs both solo and in bands since graduating from the University of Virginia. He has performed in various bands from Boston, MA to Grayton Beach, FL, toured the East Coast and Europe, and opened for some widely known popular bands including Ten Thousand Maniacs, Modern English, and REO Speedwagon. Steve was cofounder of the bands Ten Ten (Chrysalis UK) and The Circuit Riders (Planetary Records). Steve co-founded and continues to perform regularly with Tin Can Fish Band. His brand of acoustic folk rock manifests a touch of irony and sarcasm while championing the underdog. Steve's poetic style expresses his keen interest in southern Americana, and he enjoys finding humor in the absurd and struggle of everyday life.
