T Carey

I was born in Lakewood Ohio and raised in the West Park area of Cleveland. My interest in music began at an early age when joining the school big band in the fifth grade as a trumpet player I learned the basics of reading and performing music. Through my high school years I put down the trumpet and picked up the guitar.

During my college years I pursued further studies in music theory, composition and performance. After starting a family I worked in the trades and started a business. During that time I kept active in a variety of musical endeavors performing with rock bands, American Songbook cover bands and solo guitar gigs in coffee houses and wineries.

As my business expanded I purchased a building to house the business and a small studio to record and stay active with my musical pursuits. I now work diligently in my studio, occasionally with others, to expand my recording, composition and performance skills.
