SEAWALL PROPHET is the alias of Aaron Markland... Award-Winning Singer/Songwriter, Producer, Soul Surfer, Retired Firefighter, and US Veteran hailing from Ocean Beach in San Diego, CA. Aaron has written and produced seven original albums to date and has released multiple EPs & Singles with record labels Pacific Records, Wabasa Records, and Cabeza Records. The music of Seawall Prophet is incredibly diverse and blends multiple genres including Blues, Funk, Rock, Punk, Reggae, and Acoustic Roots. Seawall Prophet's album “Off the Ledge" was released on Pacific Records and peaked at #3 on the iTunes Reggae Charts. Seawall Prophet recently released a brand new 10-Track album entitled "Hallowed Ground" recorded by Grammy Award-Winning Producer Alan Sanderson at Pacific Beat Recording Studio. Featured on the album are several members of the ZZAJJ band: AJ Price (Bass/Vocals), Chris Price (Guitar), and Steve Cunningham (Drums). The band just completed a 5-State “From the Water" Summer Tour with heavy hitting reggae rock bands: Sandollar, Vibestrong, Skyler Lutes, and Elovated Roots.
