Rehsor One

Born on the 18th of June, Edward Ojeda Puente “Rehsor One” a rap recording artist began exploring music through various genre. At the age of 7 he was exposed to music at school in choir at “J.T. Brackenridge"and at home with one of his older brothers, Jim. Jim played the guitar. He taught him how to play the beginning of

“ I never really touched a guitar after that, but Jim taught me how to play the intro to “sweet child of mine” by “Guns N’ Roses” in 3 days. If I can do that as a kid I can write timeless hits,” says Rehsor One. The 90’s rap scene played a big influence on him. But it wasn’t until 2002, after the death of 2 close friends that were rap artist also, that he took a strike at songwriting. Spending a lot of time in the streets with his friends at 17 years old he was arrested on accusations of Robbery and bonded out.

“Even though we didn’t rob anyone I knew that I had to sign for time or get 50 years Iike the other guys going to trial” ,says Rehsor. Overall at 20 Yrs old he was sentenced to 8 Years in Tdcj and served the majority 5yrs 7months writing songs "a cappella" holding on what he started, the goal of becoming a successful songwriter upon release!

2011 June 2nd, Rehsor One was granted parole on good behavior and was released. Suffering from the death of his father that took place a year before parole he was more confused than focused. Being that he did give up songwriting several times by he figured he’d give it another shot!

He scanned the web and stumbled upon “Chris Lieck”
A well established Owner of a school Named “Comia” that taught all aspects of the music business. “ He took me in Chris Lieck gave me hope and he backed it up with his school, students, and workers”, says Rehsor One.

He now has 39 songs on streaming platforms and is planning on releasing 10 albums in 9 months between March 2025-March 2026 he currently is in the processes of finishing his 5th one as of Oct. 2025
