My experience with TAXI goes all the way back to GREAT John Braheny, Len Chandler and L.A. Songwriter showcase (where myself and my writing partner Marty Rodgers were judges). Then in 1991, I moved to Aspen CO (to be a big fish in a little pond) and that lasted up to the Pandemic !- where I am now back in Redondo Beach trying to place my music.
Since my valuable time as touring keyboardist for super group Three Dog Night (which translates to being in a band with GREAT vocalists) - I went the other direction and concentrated on instrumentals.
I have produced 3 instrumental albums of famous classical melodies (The Clazzax Trilogy) interpreted in an irreverent funky manner ( with my personal "B" sections added) as well as several pop songs over the years, including the Grand Prize at the Yamaha sponsored World Popular song fest. I just recently took a semi-finalist nod (#5 out of 5000 entries) with a song called "Have you heard your muse today"?
If you're read this far - I am always in search of quality lead vocalists and great guitarists and, until Zoom can figure out the latency issue, it would be a major plus if they lived in or near the South Bay ( beach cities) My personal home page :and https://www.MusicCreationService.com
