Marginal Anomie

Marginal Anomie is an independent, self-recorded, artist/musician in the central valley of California.

The musical style ranges from quirky to emotional, simple to epic – sometimes in the very same song. The music has been described as dark and moody, but there are some bright spots as well.

While his music centers around personal themes of love won and lost, the listener is always able to identify their own experiences through listening to his music. A number of the songs are ‘slow build,’ taking their time to culminate into a passionate ending.

The listener can hear influences of Nine Inch Nails, The Violet Burning, and Arcade Fire, as well as Beethoven and Chopin; Marginal Anomie incorporates the traditional instruments of violin, viola, and cello with the modern drums and guitars, the latter of which is often thick with FX.
