ASCAP #824233853 - As the sole pianist behind Molotov Cocktail Piano, Robert has released more than 2,000 recordings since 2014 and maintains more than 50,000 monthly listeners on streaming. Robert grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, a well-respected music town that is home to Indiana University's highly rated music school and to popular independent labels. Immersed in a diverse music scene, Robert has been influenced by many different genres and styles. This benefited him greatly when he started to play cocktail piano at a local restaurant in 2010. Loving his experience there, he decided immediately that he was done with day jobs and would be seeking a permanent career in the music industry. A year later, Robert was hired by a leading cruise line to play cocktail piano in the atrium and along the promenade of some of the largest passenger ships in the world. This experience was so enjoyable that it led Robert to the next step in his career: releasing piano covers of past and present radio hits under the name Molotov Cocktail Piano. Robert is now branching out into the realm of music for media and plans to use his broad experience and deep love of the piano to hone in on the perfect sounds for producers of film, television and online media.
