-Songwriter Bio-

My creative writing journey began while serving in the U.S. Navy writing for peers as they wrote cards and letters to wives and girlfriends while deployed. This led to later writing poetry a couple of times for newsletters, providing occasional article inputs.

I enjoy creating lyrical expression evoking emotional response weaving poetic and conversational lines together in fresh ways that spark the listener’s interest. Discovering those “aha” moments when unique lyrical connections come together resonating with the tongue and heart– chasing the unexpected emotional response energizes me.

Recently, my horizons have expanded to the world of Sync Licensing opportunities which has been rewarding. I love the freedom this venue provides lyrically.

Primary genre focus thus far has been: Christian contemporary, Pop, Ethereal, and Smooth jazz- with blues influenced love ballads.

Collaborations with session vocalists and top-liners have been instructive, learning nuances, pursuing authentic “flow.” Actualization of vocals always amazes me with production treatments. I enjoy the continual learning moments along the way!

Some describe my lyrics as: Reflective, Soulful, Deep, Dreamy, Poetic, Conversational, Passionate, Emotional, Engaging, Relaxing – setting a good “vibe.”
