Jill DeWeese

I have over thirty years of high school teaching. But, I have enjoyed composing and arranging during my spare time.
I have a BA in Music and teaching credential from UCLA specializing in trombone performance. I also hold a Masters in Music specializing in jazz studies from CA State University, Long Beach.
I am a mom with two great kids. My son graduated from the Manhattan School of Music with a jazz trumpet degree and a masters jazz studies from CA State University, Long Beach. He is a professional trumpet player in Southern California and can be seen regularly in the Disneyland Band. My daughter is finishing her masters at Wake Forest majoring in mental health counseling.
