"Coming from a cinematic background, Gwendolyn knows how to create a piece of music that exudes passion and resonates within your very core." - Neon Music
Having spent time both in front of and behind the camera in film and TV, GWENDOLYN brings that experience to her music giving it a dramatic pull and an atmospheric landscape that blankets the fierce emotion in her lyrics. She has leveraged that background in cinema to license her music in several films, TV, and reality series. Intoxicating and lush, sensual, and haunting, GWENDOLYN is an emerging Epic Pop artist comparable to Evanescence, Daughter and Aimee Mann. Her 2 most recent singles were featured on the popular Spotify playlists, "Grey’s Anatomy,” "50 Shades of Grey” and “Guitar Hero 3.”
GWENDOLYN continues to release new singles and is creating a fast-growing following based on her releases, film & tv syncs and her live performances across LA. Spotify- 3400+ listeners, Twitter- 3700, and Facebook- 3600.
Originally shy of performing her own music, Gwendolyn began her music journey behind the scenes writing for film scores, soundtracks and even music for the United Nations. On one particular New Years Day she decided to take a friend's dare to conquer a fear and performed one of her songs at an open mic. The experience was terrifying, but Gwendolyn kept performing her songs anonymously at open mics around Los Angeles. Within two months she was discovered by a prominent booking agent and began booking solo gigs across LA at Troubadour, House of Blues, The Lighthouse and Saint Rocke.
Her music has been featured in several films, tv and reality series including MTV Real World, and Grey’s Anatomy, 50 Shades of Grey, & Dinner Party Spotify playlists. GWENDOLYN’s single “Twisted Sheets” dubuted on July 22, 2020, to be followed by a string of new music over the coming year.
