Fred Spina

I was born in Upstate New York and currently reside in Connecticut, via Texas. I started playing piano at 7 and guitar at 10. When I was in High School, I played rhythm guitar on a jazz record and have been hooked ever since. I still have the first transistor radio I owned and listened to every night as a kid. I've been writing and recording as a songwriter for over 35 years. A portion of my country music collection sits in various publishing libraries, and my songs have been selected in top 10 categories in national contests, featured on TAXI as a Top 10 songwriter and recently placed in the Top 3 - Songwriters Universe contest.

Still looking to find that right balance for an upcoming or established Singer/Songwriter collaboration.

I'm also interested in producing instrumentals with jazz/fusion/cinema influences for film/TV. Having lots of fun with that in between writing Indie/Country/ALT rock music.
