Singer, songwriter, occasional front-man band leader.
Ethan and the Ewox's style of music is a hybrid of southern rock, folk, and fusion. We were chosen by listeners of New Orleans WWOZ as the number one Jazz Fest Artist when we debuted at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival in 2003 on the main stage, in an artist lineup that included the likes of Los Lobos, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, and Ben Harper. You can find us on most streaming services by looking up "Ethan And The Ewox". We also did one record with Distillery Records titled 'Entropy Boy' under the nom de plume of simply "ETHAN". So, you can also find us by searching for "ETHAN, Entropy Boy".
To date, the band has recorded four albums of original music, along with one acoustic record and one live record. The majority of the music was recorded at Atlanta-based Berkeley Park Studios, Fireside Studios in Nashville, Yadidit Studios in NYC, and the now shuttered Distillery Sound Studios in Louisville, KY.
I also record solo material, as well as sync tracks for film, tv, commercials, corporate, etc. Will be including more of that here in the future, as well as on my disco account: https://ethan-baker.disco.ac.
