With work spanning from video games to feature films to Children's CDs, Emilia Lopez-Yañez is an up-and-coming artist sharing her music on the international stage. After completing her Graduate Certificate and Master’s degree in Oboe Performance at USC, and her undergraduate degree in both Vocal and Oboe Performance through Chapman University, Lopez-Yañez has already amassed an impressive resume as a musical double threat. As a youngster, Emilia performed with the group, Me and the Kids. She now performs with the award-winning duo Ruth and Emilia. They were recently honored with the LA
Music Critic's, "2018 Best Children's Award" for The Spaceship That Fell in my Backyard. Their next album, "Kokowanda Bay" released in 2020 and won a Parent’s Choice Award, a Mom’s Choice Gold Award, a Grand Prize in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, and many more!
Emilia is the featured oboist on both award-winning albums, "Kochi" and "Heritage." Emilia is the featured artist on Art Tawanghar's new age single, "Distorted Time," released in 2017 on Major Hit Records.
As a first-time composer and producer, Emilia recently wrapped up her first video game score for City Block Builder. As a featured vocalist, you can hear Emilia singing on the One Little Finger Soundtrack, which won numerous international film festival laurels, and is now streaming around the world.
As a soprano, Emilia Lopez-Yañez was also featured as a soloist on the BILLBOARD charting, multi-award winning UNESCO World Peace album, "Action Moves People United." There she was featured on two tracks, and recorded alongside Allan White, from YES and actor Dan Aykroyd.
