Trotter LaPointe

Jamieson Trotter and Nate LaPointe have been performing, writing, and producing music for 29 years. Beginning as roommates in college at the prestigious California Institute of the Arts, Trotter and LaPointe have worked on hundreds of tracks, both for their own projects, and for countless clients over the years.

Jamieson has spent decades producing for various artists across every genre and style. His keyboard skills allow for any classic or contemporary sounds including piano, Fender Rhodes, Hammond B3, Wurlitzer, clavinet and synth sounds. As a keyboardist, he's played for Kenny G and Herb Alpert and many other jazz vocalists. As an arranger, strings and horns can be added to any track for warmth and depth.

Nate has played guitar and other stringed instruments for countless artists such as Bobby Womack, Selena Gomez, and Vince Welnick. He's not only capable on electric and acoustic guitars, but also pedal steel guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and violin. Nate also sings lead and backing vocals.
