Though she lives offshore on a houseboat, Merrily Weeber’s roots extend deep into the rich mother lode of American song.
A prominent player in the Sausalito, California, music scene, she’s no stranger to touring, having graced various venues in the United and Japan. In France, she performed for an international audience at the Midem Music Festival.
Merrily has also cultivated a reputation as a world-class songwriter. Besides cowriting with Jack Tempchin, composer of such Eagles’ hits as “Peaceful Easy Feeling” and “Already Gone,” she collaborates with a personal pantheon of writers that includes Dan Marcus (whose song, “Just an Old Condition” can be heard on the soundtrack of the recent movie "Land of Bad" (Russell Crowe, Liam Hemsworth), historian/songwriter John Barnard, and Trevor McShane (aka Neville Johnson, one of L.A.’s premier entertainment attorneys).
