From the city of Rocky Mount, NC. It's no secret that where i'm from there is no shortage of small time thinking when it comes to this music thang. I feel as though I am the exception. Now at 28 years of age, I've been studying and learning my craft for 3 years. I was forced, being that it was not by choice, to dig from deep within and do whatever it took to teach to myself. Now, after numerous long hours of studying and many all nighters, I am now a serious contender as a songwriter, singer, rapper, producer, and engineer. I know within my gut that my best work is yet to come.
I will do whatever it takes! I realize that A much bigger catalyst will be needed to get the ball rolling on an independent level given my surroundings, but I will make it happen if I have to. Infact, despite having the responsibility of a family to care for, within that short 3 years of time, I've managed to not only learn my craft, but I've recorded 3 albums/projects, have an up and running office/studio that I run, and am currently putting the finishing touches on the business planning of an independent record label that Ive dubbed "Jacobe Records".

I have not been heard by many, and beieve that once heard I will have the opportunity to do what comes so natural to me, (work hard and make hits). I have to my credit, the look of the next sex symbol, the singing voice that fits the criteria of chart topping hit songs, the sound and delivery that at the very least parralels the hottest rappers in the game, the songwriters ability to more than just hold my own, the work ethic (coming from knowing nothing and teaching myself everything) to do whatever it takes, no matter what...Period!, and last the knowledge to know that all of that means absolutely nothing without the appropriate people to work with, and the opportunity to present itself in order to make it happen.
