CJ 2.0

CJ 2.0 is a singer songwriter based in Asbury Park, New Jersey originally from Long Beach, California.

CJ 's universal music style seamlessly blends elements of Alternative, Indie, Indie Pop, and Folk, weaving a tapestry of introspective lyrical storytelling and Americana soundscapes that resonate with a wide audience.

CJ released his debut EP Survival in 2022. Survival Mode was coproduced and mixed by Jack Daley (Lenny Kravitz, Spin Doctors) at Dug Deep Production recording studio. All 4 songs "Something Old & Borrowed, Hills of Mulholland, Somewhere in Arizona & Feelings feature bassist Jack Daley, drummer Aaron Comess (Spin Doctors) & guitarist Marc Ribler (Bruce Springsteen, Disciples of Soul).

In 2023 & 2024 CJ teamed up with musician/producer/engineer/film director Riz Story (Anyone, TogethermenT Films) in Hollywood California & recorded 6 songs that captured a vibrant sound of Indie, Alternative & Americana rock. Riz Story was the perfect connection for CJ to bring his songs to life given Riz's successful experience in recording & producing of "6" Top 10 Billboard Hits.

CJ' writes his songs to be commercially driven with hooks that will bring a listener to feel like they have heard these songs before yet can't place where, this is designed by CJ's wide variety of music influences ranging from rock, blues, pop, alternative, indie, hip hop & jazz and his direct intention to create songs that can be heard in film & commercials.

CJ has delivered energetic performances with his bands (The Long Beach Outlaws, The Asbury Park Outlaws and The New Vibe) nationally at venues such as the Viper Room (LA), Saint Rocke (Hermosa Beach) Alex's (Long Beach, CA), The Saint (Asbury Park, NJ), The Stone Pony (Asbury Park), Arlene's Grocery (NYC), Rockwood Music Hall (NYC) to name a few.
