Steve is a multi-instrumentalist musician, singer, songwriter, recording engineer and producer with wide ranging musical talents and tastes, from psychedelic garage to alt country and rock to retro-mod and beyond. He plays mandolin, acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, piano, organ, keyboards, drums and percussion. He has released two albums (Nothing, 2017, and Heart of Stone, 2018) and is currently working on a third. He performs regularly in the area and also hosts a weekly open mic. In addition to his solo efforts, he plays regularly in a rock cover band. He currently resides in Pennsylvania where he has a recording studio (Hedgerow Studio) and is involved in several live and studio musical projects, but is able to travel or relocate as needed.
Steve’s music odyssey began in college when he learned to play guitar and piano, and began playing in an acoustic trio that evolved into a rock band. After college, he played full-time in a traveling Top 40 cover band for several years before settling down to raise a family and work as a research engineer and university professor. Now he has come back full circle to pursue his musical endeavors full time.
