Steve Ulrich

Steve is a lifelong songwriter/singer. As a boy he could not figure how to play the songs he wanted but he did learn the "Jimmy Reed" riff. From there he began writing and, as he learned chords he expanded his reach into other rhythms and forms. He began performing as a sixteen-year-old in Minneapolis, MN. Now, many years later he has performed in more than twenty states, several European Countries, Mexico and Guatemala. In Guatemala he and his wife, Elisabeth Rogolsky opened and ran a non-profit music school for twelve years. Steve has been releasing music on CDs for twenty-five years and has a new one due out in June of 2025. He has three sons; two are musicians in Austin and the other is a very talented wood worker in Neveda Iowa. He loves to perform and finds himself more alive playing for an audience than anywhere else.
