Andrew Salmonsen

Andy Salmonsen is a composer, keyboardist, and musical director with a lifelong focus on creating orchestral music for film and television. He began developing his ear at a young age, teaching himself to play and arrange music intuitively, and was especially influenced by cinematic scores from an early age.

While Andy built a successful career as a performer and founder of NRG Music and Productions—producing and directing live entertainment for corporate events and international audiences—his primary creative focus has increasingly turned toward composition.

In recent years, Andy has dedicated significant time to writing orchestral and cinematic music. His work emphasizes strong melodic themes, dynamic arrangements, and a full, immersive sound designed for visual media. He has produced an extensive catalog of original compositions, with projects currently being considered for placement in film, television, and trailers through libraries such as 10 West Music, Perfect Score, and Eclipse Music.

Andy continues to compose, record, and develop new material, bringing decades of musical experience into a focused pursuit of scoring for screen.
