Teghan Devon is an award-winning singer-songwriter. She has been writing and performing her songs since she was 10 years old. She fell in love with music at a young age when she was first introduced to The Beatles. There is an incriminating video of her singing “The Ballad of John and Yoko” in her booster seat.
Teghan specializes in what she calls “indie-folk emotional wrecking ball songs”. Whether it be personal heartbreak, characters from books and film, childhood dogs, or mother sea turtles, Teghan looks for inspiration everywhere. Her pure voice and unique point of view aim to embrace vulnerability and touch people’s hearts. Teghan’s writing shows traces of her heroes, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, Mitski, and Juliana Hatfield. Teghan’s voice has been compared to that of Norah Jones, Edie Brickell, and Fiona Apple, among others.
Teghan graduated from the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy. She then went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music in 2021, and Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries (LIMPI) in 2023.
