Tina Dod

Music.Oxygen. One in the same to me. My interest in music began before 1st grade flute lessons - singing harmony at my Mom's barbershop rehearsals! At 14, I began writing songs and playing guitar. I played flute, guitar and sang in many bands:(symphonic, jazz, marching, rock) then started a recording studio and learning production. I now write on piano and guitar and produce some of my own music projects - as well as projects for close friends. I enjoy writing lyrics and music solo, as well as collaborating with fun, creative people! I started a N.S.A.I. (Nashville Songwriters Association International.) workshop in Wichita in 2000 and taught songwriting for 10 years (one of my co-writers joined me in coordinating that workshop and still leads it today). I enjoy writing for projects as well as from pure inspiration. I've had many wonderful mentors and talented co-writers from Nashville to New York to L.A..through the years. I write mostly rock, country, pop, A/C, dance, inspirational and meditation music. I also sculpt, paint and own a traditional business with my husband.
