Tony Tilmon

-the short version-

 A graduate of the Naval School of Music, The Institute of Audio Recording, and DeVry Institute of Technology, combined with a tremendous thirst for adventure, Tony has the professional skills to work in a variety of musical and technical environments.  His dedication to his craft has led him to concert tours, television performances and recording sessions around the globe with both independent artists, and major label acts from EMI, Motown, Jive-Zomba, SONY, Atlantic and others.  Also an accomplished audio engineer, producer and electronic technician, Tony has earned recording credits from his work on both sides of the studio glass.  

 Never reluctant to accept a challenge—and following in the tradition of some of the great musicians before him—in 2001, Tony pulled up his New York stakes and headed for Europe with one-way ticket in hand, to further pursue his art and take it to a larger audience.  That gamble turned into a thirteen-month stay in Rome, Italy and a top-to-bottom tour of the country.  Highlights include several television appearances (RAI-TV; Gold Network), a rare engagement in Pula, Slovenia, and an explosive performance at The Pistoia Blues Festival, 2001 (one of Italy’s most prestigious annual Blues & Rock music festivals, also filmed for RAI-TV).  

 Currently in 2008, you can catch Tony performing with his band Rhythm Council, designing and installing A/V systems, engineering and composing music for television, film, and multi-media or performing with other artists in the NYC area.
