Djupa Dvala

Djupa Dvala is the solo project of Swedish artist and producer Fredrik Bergstrand. From a small home studio, he writes, records, and produces dreamy, inward-looking songs with soft melodies and intimate textures.

Raised in Katrineholm, Sweden, Bergstrand explored music from an early age before studying music production at Linnaeus University. Releasing music slowly and selectively, first under the name Scuba Dvala, he developed his sound through tracks such as “Anthill,” “Soy Boy,” and “Mumble.” Now, as Djupa Dvala, he creates music that favors patience and detail in a fast and overwhelming world.
