Daniel Griffin

Born and raised in Chicago, Daniel Griffin currently lives, writes and performs in Spain, where he has played drums and sung for some of Latin rock´s biggest groups. Besides logging 10 years with platinum-selling supergroup Fito y Fitipaldis, he´s also toured or recorded with Latin rock legends Miguel Rios, Tequila, Ariel Rot, Carlos Baute, & Nena Daconte. Four of his recordings have been nominated to the Latin Grammys.

His musical alter ego is that of Spain´s #1 children´s performer in English. He has written and produced 10 of his own children´s music albums (dancingenglish.com), as well as some 400 songs for English-language textbooks.

Oxford University Press commissioned him all the music for an entire English-learning series.

Daniel graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University.
