Born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands with roots in the Cape Verdean islands Symog grew up listening to a unique mix of sounds. As a 14 year old he started experimenting with fruity loops by making HipHop & R&B beats. Later he fell in love with genres like Kizomba & Zouk which are are closer to his culture. During this journey Symog landed several placements with internationally known artists like Nelson Freitas, Perola, Mika Mendes and more. These songs have generated tens of millions of streams online.

Since a few years Symog started experimenting more genres and showing his diversity in music. One thing is for sure; it is always a surprise what kind of music he releases.
