Karma Sisters deliver fearless, feel-good American K-Pop—bold beats, addictive hooks, and honest lyrics built on unity, confidence, and joy. And that’s just the beginning.
Karma Sisters is a songwriting-driven project led by Rachel McLaughlin (ASCAP), a prolific lyricist, pianist, artist, musical storyteller, and educator. Rachel writes across nearly every genre, following the song wherever it wants to go. That creative freedom defines this TAXI profile—you never know what will pop up next, but it will always be original, intentional, and lyric-led.
Rachel’s songwriting also fuels multiple creative projects, including 10000 Trees Music (art songs for kids), Femmex Machina (unique Pride-focused ElectroPop), and Wildflower Sisters (bold, original protest pop). Across all projects, the message is clear: meaningful lyrics brimming with creativity, paired with musical compositions and arrangements that have something to say.
All music submitted on TAXI is 100% original, written and owned by Rachel McLaughlin. Production blends professional live musicians, skilled engineers, work-for-hire vocalists when a track requires it (e.g., reggae demos), and AI-generated vocals or instrumentation as creative tools—always in service of Rachel’s original compositions and lyrics. The songwriting, storytelling, and creative direction are entirely human-driven, with some lyrics dating back over 25 years. Fully AI-created songs are submitted only when requested, though they may be represented here to demonstrate full creative range.
With a fast, flexible writing process, powerhouse studio musicians, and a growing catalog across bands and genres, Karma Sisters lead with the message: emotionally honest, hook-driven pop that resonates, belongs, and lasts.
Fearless American K-Pop.
Truth-driven Protest Pop for the People.
