John Gentile

I was born in Bronx, NY and a product of NY culture through the 1970's...I was blessed to learn to play piano by ear at age 8 and started to write songs at age 16. In 1983, I went off to study Chiropractic (Palmer College of Chiropractic). It was there I decided to give up on my music career (I sold my Fender Rhodes :(
After graduating from Chiro school in 1987, I entered the work force in the Albany NY area as a Dr of Chiropractic. Got married and started a family in 1990.
By 1995 the spirit hit me and I began to play the piano feverishly and to write songs for the Lord all day everyday. I then played on all kinds of worship teams in the area (Graceway Ministries Schenectady, the Rock Ministries Rotterdam NY, Regional Christian Artists Albany, NY, Bethel Full Gospel Church, Rotterdam NY and Bethe Saratoga Saratoga, NY). I stayed in practice until 2004 and sold the chiropractic office. I obtained my ministry credentials over the next several years and became a licensed Minister with the AG in NY state. I currently pastor the Saratoga campus of Bethel Full Gospel in Rotterdam, NY. I Am Redeemed was my first song production that made it out into the open market. Vincent Delaidatti, a traveling minstrel, recorded it and played it for several years all across the USA. It was a featured song on his CD "The Grace of the Living God". The claim to fame was the video that reached 100,000 views on In Christ Network and 20,000 views on YouTube. Today John is putting out Christ centered prose content and video studies through Edge of the Spirit Ministry (edgeofthespirit.com) including his latest musical works.
