I’m Tyler Motes—a Southern songwriter and musician turning life into country music. Every lyric is rooted in truth: family, struggle, resilience and mostly, I say the quiet part out loud.

So far, as of November 2025, I’ve been told my style, so far, is “too country” for most publishing companies. I’ve been turned down from almost 47 opportunities. I could use a win, but so could we all!!

I love all music but enjoy, blending that classic sound and heart with today’s edge or yesterdays memories. I play a range of instruments, my favorite being the drums.

I believe music creation like life, should be real and accessible—for everyone, not just the few.
