Benjamin Gilmore

Ben Gilmore is a country and Americana songwriter based in Los Angeles. The music he loves has always been before his time. Raised in So Cal by a musical family, he grew up on Led Zeppelin and the Eagles, while the neighbors' kids were into grunge. Life took him across the country to Michigan, where he discovered flamenco and the White Stripes, honing his songwriting craft and guitar chops in coffee shops and dive bars. He has always returned to classic country for true inspiration. His musical voice has fully come into its own as the songwriter and lead guitarist for the LA country rock band Dreamers and Drifters. Dreamers have played at rowdy parties, small clubs, and dive bars where they have hosted country music nights and brought musicians together. Dreamers and Drifters were blessed to bring their music to the Lone Star State, playing a showcase at SXSW in Austin in 2019. Ben Gilmore's songs combine classic country, 70s rock and folk into timeless stories that can be uplifting, heartbreaking, bitter and funny all at the same time. Stories of dreams sometimes lost, but never forgotten.
