Andie’s indie-pop/singer-songwriter style has been described as raw and clever, with an unusual maturity and depth for her years. She has a deep love for the process and journey of songwriting and draws inspiration from artists like Gracie Abrams, Christina Perri and Sara Bareilles. While her songs are expressly personal (it’s rumored a single heartbreak has inspired 10 songs), they are also hugely relatable, largely due to Andie’s signature vocals which have a warmth and honesty that make you feel like you feel like you’re listening to a close friend.
Andie began playing piano when she was eight. Bored with playing scales she wrote her first original song the following year. She took up guitar and continued writing, realizing how the different instruments inspired different melodies and chord progressions. She started posting simple acoustic versions of her songs on social media in her teens and the reception was positive right away. It was also at this time that she began entering songwriting contests and received recognition and awards for 7 of her songs before graduating high-school. At age 18, Andie left behind her home in a small, sleepy suburb of Southern California to pursue a music career in New York.
Following the success of the release of her 3-song EP Afterthought in 2023, she has been back in the studio recording singles and finishing up a 12-song LP to be released in 2024. When she is not writing or recording, she can be heard performing on Instagram and at local open-mics or seen taking a long run through Riverside or Central Park.
