Crush

From the day they first appeared on stage together, there was an undeniable chemistry. These vocal powerhouses seemed destined to meld their vocals into pristine harmonies, electrify the stage and drive fans to ecstasy with their classic and captivating stage performances.

  Crush’s early origin was an evolving group of musical talents based in San Diego, created as a live performance top 40 band for Southern California concert venues and corporate events. Angie Sagastume was the original vocal talent  who headed up the vocalists. Her efforts to find top performers led her to include the refined soulful control found in Rebecca Jade. With Rebecca’s sweltering jazz vocals, the musical direction of Crush was becoming much clearer.  The minute Carissa Schroeder joined the stage with Angie and Rebecca, it was evident -- the seductive singer with the big rockstar voice was the last ingredient needed for the chemistry that would mystify Southern Californian audiences for the next two years.

   Delivering a truly new level of vocal entertainment, these three ladies seamlessly blend a hip, modern edge with their classic, traditional style of music. Equally talented and sought after, Crush is the real deal. It was this powerful chemistry that attracted a seasoned producer, Kevin Flournoy, to want Crush to help bring life into one of his many music endeavors.

    Over approximately the last six months, Crush has been collaborating their vocal strengths with Kevin’s music vision. With the help of some of today’s most sought after musicians, studios, and talents, this original project is designed to take on the world’s top artists and win the hearts of any fan of soulful music. Crush is currently working to  complete recordings of  more songs, with Kevin and their  vocal coach Doc Holliday (whose resume includes training today’s top artists like Britney Spears, Tyrese, and Backstreet Boys).
