As a 3rd generation trumpet player, music is in my blood. It's always on – in the room, or in my head.

Growing up I was formally trained on piano, and the trumpet, the latter of which accompanied me to college. I've been in bands of many sizes and styles, orchestras, etc., and along the way dabbled with various other instruments. However early on I was taken by the guitar, and what is now classic rock became the soundtrack of my youth.

I've since been in bands of various genres playing in clubs, and doing solo acoustic gigs. The highlight of those experiences was to have our band chosen to be the "house band" for the 2020 NHL Winter Classic hockey game in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas in front of 85,000 people on January 1st, 2020. An experience of a lifetime.

I've been in and out of Taxi for several decades now, but, like many, just couldn't manage to make the commitment. Now I find myself with the opportunity to do just that, and to work to see once and for all, if and where my music has a place in this world.
