Lewis Allen Guy

A native of North Carolina now living in Mississippi, Allen was educated at the University of Georgia where upon completion of his degree he embarked on a career in sales and marketing in the financial services industry. During his time in financial services, Allen used his God-given creative talents to influence both customers and fellow employees. Even with a successful career that spans more than three decades, Allen felt he was not fully utilizing those God-given talents and began to change directions.

In 2013, Allen wrote “Playing To Win: The Sport of Selling and How You Can Win The Game” published by Sartoris Literary Group. Yet, even with his first book published, Allen’s passion was still not realized.

His desire to write lyrics, poetry and other creative writings led him to begin writing more song lyrics and begin pursuing the dream of a songwriter. With no ability to sing or play musical instruments, Allen didn’t let that stop him from jotting down words that he could craft into enjoyable melodies with the help of others. So, that’s what he did. Teaming up with individuals in the music industry, he wrote his first song – “Empty Seats.” With the help of platinum songwriter John Kennedy, a seasoned Nashville musician along with Brent Johnston, producer, “Empty Seats” more than met Allen’s expectations.

With John, Brent and other skilled and proven music professionals handling the music composition, Allen continues to find the words to create songs that reach across various genres to provide unique styles and sounds that today’s music audience is seeking. Allen’s primary focus is on Contemporary Christian, Praise and Worship, Gospel, Country and Pop.
