James David Padrutt / 100 Watt Robot

James David Padrutt is an American singer, songwriter and composer. He is the creator of the science fiction-themed, dance music project 100 Watt Robot, for which he writes, records, produces and performs.

His composer credits include several high-profile re-releases and reboots. He has worked on numerous titles for legendary film maker Francis Ford Coppola, including score of The Outsiders re-release ('The Outsiders: The Complete Novel') working alongside Michael Seifert. He scored short documentaries and supplemental footage included in the remastered DVD editions of 'The Godfather' films, 'Brahm Stoker’s Dracula', 'The Outsiders', and the 'Apocalypse Now' documentary 'Hearts of Darkness.'

David is the composer and songwriter for the most recent series of Care Bears cartoons ('Care Bears: Unlock the Magic') and is also the composer of the Netflix original series for kids 'Buddy Thunderstruck.'

A regular writer and producer of tracks to several music libraries, David is fluent and experienced working in a wide variety of production styles and genres.

Most recently he appeared in the new Sega launch trailer for 'Sonic Racing: Crossworlds' - one of multiple, recent projects that feature his penchant for guitar-driven anime rock.
