Yusuf Mahdi

Yusuf Mahdi, a versatile music creator from Finland and Somalia embarked on a diverse musical journey rooted in acoustic and electric guitar. From his early teens, inspired by iconic rock bands, he transistioned into a singer-songwriter, exploring a percussive guitar style. With an EP and three singles under his artist projects, Yusuf has now moved into a singer, songwriter, topliner and music producer role.
Passionate about conceptual songwriting, Yusuf Mahdi has successfully pitched songs to publishers. His songs are currently being pitched by publishers, ROKO Music and Sugar House publishing in Finland and Afrikan Cowboy publishing in the UK, showcasing his ability to craft fully produced and professinally demoed tracks. Yusuf’s notable achievments include placing his song ’Break The Night’ in European Placement Projects through publisher Bob Dellaposta. Mentored by industry experts, Yusuf Mahdi envisions a future where music serves as a universal language, fostering connections across diverse cultures.
