Wes Bowers has played his own music for years, but only lately has his solo material been freely available. His solo music ranges from blues to pop to heavy rock, and is rooted in rock-style riffs that ground the songs. The compositions have vocal melodies that show delicacy and soul. "Songs" the latest full-length album has songs that range from heavier rock-"Another Life", "Can You?-to melodic soft rock-"Lonely Walk", "Silver Lining". "Songs" comprises of tight drumming that complements the compositions and bass that adds to the feel of the songs as a whole.
The newest groupings of solo songs are being arranged and recorded this year. An EP called, "Songs II A" is being released early May. These six songs have a much more organic raw feel from the previous tracks and have tracks that the songwriter is excited about such as, "I Don't Know Why", "You Don't Wanna Know", and "Future".
