Vickie Maris

Vickie Maris is an Indiana/USA-based singer-songwriter and recording artist. Her songs reflect influences of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, Alanis Morissette, Shania Twain and Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders. Maris' debut solo album is Another Universe. She has several new singles coming out in 2024.

Maris, along with singer-songwriter Scott Greeson and singer-songwriter / recording engineer / touring guitarist Michael Kelsey, have recently opened for The Barefoot Movement, and played for the Athenaeum Foundation at The Rathskeller in Indianapolis.

Maris and her band were among favorites at the INAFF Convention Showcase in January 2023 while in a lineup with American Idol contestant Alex Miller and The Voice finalist Emily Ann Roberts.

Maris is an acoustic guitarist and piano accordionist. She also plays and sings harmony vocals in the Scott Greeson band, which tours Indiana festivals and concert venues. The group has played major side stages at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center (Noblesville, Indiana) for country acts from Tim McGraw to Brad Paisley to Keith Urban to The Zac Brown Band.

Maris, Kelsey and Greeson have also released a podcast to take you behind the scenes of the album, Another Universe. The show is in all the major podcast directories including Spotify. It is “Making of the Album - Another Universe.”

The three artists, plus Portland-based arranger and accordionist Courtney Von Drehle, are part of the music mastermind group, Kelsey Greeson Project, an applicant for the 2023-2024 American Music Abroad Program, sponsored by the US State Department.
