Tom Hoefel

Tom Hoefel is a songwriter who is making a name for himself in the Texas Hill Country. Born in St. Louis, Tom got his first guitar at fifteen, shortly before his family moved to California. He started writing songs a couple of years later. After a successful career in law enforcement, including more than seven years as a police chief, Tom and his wife, Bunni, moved to Texas to pursue another passion, songwriting. Over the years, Tom has played in a number of country, rock, and R&B bands, and you can hear all those influences in his music. You can catch Tom playing solo or as a member of the duo "Cool Water" at one of the many music venues around the Texas Hill Country.
