Tim Camrose

Tim Camrose is a singer songwriter based in the Northwest of England. He was a keen musician growing up in London, however when he left home to study and pursue a career in medicine he gave up music for the next 40 years. Throughout all this time Tim continued to have songs going round his head; he says every time he would go on a long flight or drive, tunes & lyrics would come to him.

Truth is, although Tim found his career as a Surgeon & University Professor hugely rewarding, his song writing spirit never left. He has now retired as a Surgeon and is finally pursuing this long-held ambition to write, record and perform his own songs.

Tim’s music is influenced by the great songwriters he grew up listening to such as Elton John, Bruce Springsteen & Billy Joel. His songs tell stories, drawing on his travels and personal life experiences. Some are sad, many uplifting; they are about hopes and dreams, and never giving up.
