Music should make you feel more in tune with your emotions and less alone in this chaotic world. Sean Martin West strives to achieve this with vivid, lyric driven music. The Nashville based singer, songwriter, and producer graduated from Berklee College of Music where he was immersed in a tradition of focused music analysis. With influences deep and varied, he blends genres to create something new, yet familiar.
In 2023, West released a series of 6 self produced singles, each with its own sound and purpose. This series started as a covid lockdown project that turned into years of perfectionistic crafting. The resulting music has rich layers of sounds, and a wide variety of genres including Folk, Blues, Country, Singer Songwriter, and Indie. West’s latest single “Keepsake" is a vulnerable song reflecting on the cyclical nature of caring for someone with depression.
West is currently mixing his debut full length album "I Need a Day that's Not the Same". Recorded at The Bomb Shelter in Nashville TN, this release will have a wide range of sounds including Indie Rock, Americana, Funk, and Rock n' Roll.
