Roger Gomez, a talented songwriter from Perth, Western Australia, has left an indelible mark on the music landscape. After a period in Melbourne, Roger fully immersed himself in the thriving band culture, captivating audiences on the east coast of Australia with his electrifying live performances and studio recordings, all while showcasing his original music.
Upon returning to the picturesque shores of Perth on the west coast, Roger ventured into the studio, giving birth to his debut EP while maintaining a steady presence on the live music circuit. His musical journey continued with the creation of Satellite Sessions, which helped him win a prized publishing contract in the United States.
In 2011, Roger displayed his artistic prowess boldly by crossing the Atlantic to compete in the prestigious World Championship of Performing Arts held in Los Angeles. He received three bronze medals for his exceptional original compositions, a testament to his musical talent and unwavering dedication.
Fast forward to the present day, Roger proudly presents his inaugural full-length album, BEHIND CLOUD NINE, featuring the captivating single "Monday's Guide." He now leads a fresh band, enthralling audiences in and around Perth, Western Australia, with a blend of his own creations and cherished covers.
Expanding his horizons, Roger graced the stages of Los Angeles in 2017, sharing his melodic tapestry in the heart of L.A. and Hollywood to promote his recent musical ventures. Continuing his artistic journey, Roger reveals his sophomore album, Happy Modern People, now available on various streaming platforms and his personal website.
Remaining an ardent networker and industry enthusiast, Roger immersed himself in the musical sphere at MUSEXPO and NAMM in 2023, forging alliances with A&R executives and the accomplished producer/mixer Ryan Benyo in Los Angeles.
